Engineering around the site

Battery chemistry, usable energy, PCS power, BMS, EMS, thermal management, fire mitigation and protection must work together. AC loads connect through the AC distribution bus; the PCS interfaces to the DC battery system.

Backup and grid-parallel operation are different

Grid-parallel peak shaving and solar shifting do not automatically deliver outage backup. Transfer switching, islanding, starting current, critical-load segregation and protection require project-specific validation. Nominal DC energy is not a guaranteed delivered AC quantity.
